Naturally hand-dyed
Plant and insect dyes produce complex colors,  each actually composed of several colors, unlike the flat mono-colors of chemical dyes. Light is reflected more truly, and human sight is enlivened  through innerly reproducing the multiple colors that read as “blue”, “red”, “yellow’, etc. Only natural fibers and lowest toxicity mordants- never heavy metals- are used. Some of the  dye plants  are harvested right from my garden and the local area. As we move through the seasons, colors will change accordingly to express the mood of the sky and the land. As a result, wearing these  textiles is a tangible and wholesome connection to the elements.
